Born and raised to a musical family in Vancouver, WA, Wil Veale has cultivated a lifelong study of music into a garden of influences that dig deep and wide, pulling his roots from many diverse styles and cultures: pop, rock, latin, jazz, reggae, folk, funk, classical and even electronica (just to name a few). He’s sang and shredded six strings for numerous bands including local ‘Couve favorites Coloso and Ruff Hausen, he’s slammed the skins in the psychedelic surf rock quartet Outer Space Heaters, and is often called for sessions when someone needs a solid player in a clutch. Whether he’s opening for The Wailers, shredding some Santana or Slayer, or bouncing to The Beatles and Bruno Mars, Wil likes to toy with interesting tones and textures that fill the atmosphere with colorful sounds that tickle the ears, beg the feet to dance, and force heads to rock.
